Well, I don’t own the DS version, and the fact the stage has the same name as the N64 version, that confused me.

It would fit in perfectly, 2 laps and all. N64 Wario Stadium was not in Mario Kart DS.

Not sure, I think they included it already in Mario Kart DS’s retro circuit, but you never know. GCN Wario Colosseum might be cool though.

They could have moments where you could optionally drive on the walls, or something. Plus in Mario Kart 7, they added a few alternate routes for a few retro tracks, like on “N64 Kalamari Desert,” to go with the hang-glider gimmick, they added a shortcut ramp off-road (so you need a mushroom item to get to it) that lets you hang-glide over the train.

I like Music Park. It’s just not my favorite one in MK7.
 
Curious what other levels we’ll see come back, and what new ones to expect. Sense in MK7 they added some underwater alternate paths, and hanglider segments to a few retro stages, maybe we’ll see some minor updates with the anti-gravity feature in some, as well.

Because the Mario Kart games are like a different series from the main platformer/adventure Mario games. (In fact, Miyamoto is actually less involved in the MK games. The MKart series was mostly created by Hideki Konno, I think.) I think both new Mario 3D World & Mario Kart 8 look nice though.

man i’m thinking how beautiful rainbow road will be on mario kart 8 honestly when i saw the gameplay footages it look very pixar quality some people said that also,which reminds me why hasn’t nintendo made a mario game that looks like mario kart 8 style?

Yeah, I remember the “Music Park” stage. While not my favorite MK7/3DS track, I have to admit it was a fun stage in both looks, and design.
 
And yeah, I hope the new Rainbow Road will look awesome. I have to agree that the 3DS one will be a hard one to beat, sense it had so many cool moments, (and was still challenging) and might be the best one we’ve had. (Like driving on the moooooon!)  
I hope like the MK7/3DS one they make it one HUGE racetrack with a single-lap.

The races look like they’ll be 2 laps anyway. I just loved Cheese Land’s music, it sounds like a rave party. Music Park was another one they had shown. A Wuhu track would be nice too.

Yeah, I like how that level looks like a water slide park themed after the original “Super Mario Bros.” game.
 
Y’know, just out of curiosity, what “retro” levels would you guys like to see come back? I’d like to see “Cheese Land” from the GBA game, and maybe “Rainbow Road N64,” just ‘cause I love the music of that level, neon signs of the characters. (Though, they might have to shorten it to 2 laps sense it’s so long.) I’d also like Koopa Beach 1 from the original SNES game, and one of the Wuku Island tracks from the 3DS game.

Y’know, if you count the 2 arcade Mario Kart games by Namco this is actually the 10th Mario Kart game.
 
In fact, I hear Namco’s making a third.

Glad to see Piranha Plant Slide from the 3DS MK7 game is in MK8. :) (Nice to know they’re keeping the tradition of including “retro” race circuits.)  
That was one of my favorite stages in MK7.
