So here’s the secret project I’ve been working on! I finished her just in time too. I’M SO STOKED FOR THE BOOK 4 PREMIERE.

I got the idea to make her towards the end of book 3, and when book 4 was announced I redirected all my hype into making her. Of course, half way through working on her, the preview came out and she CUT OFF ALL HER HAIR ;__; I thought about changing it, but in the end I feel like her old hairstyle is more iconic.

I’m a little disappointed with the minky I chose for her coat color. It’s much lighter than I thought it would be when I ordered it. If I make her again I’ll go with the darker Cappuccino color. I should really buy a set of swatches so I’ll know what I’m getting.

Korra is made from Camel, Brown, Dusty Blue, White, and dark blue (Dont know the actual shade, it was scrap) minky. She stands about 15.5” tall to the top of her head, and about 19-20” tall to the top of her ponytail. She has machine embroidered eyes and cutie marks, and machine and hand appliqued details.
