Description

Yes I have watched the game theory episode, but because it was just a theory, they left out the most decisive evidence and this still doesnt prove whether or not sonic can actually go UP TO the speed of sound.
And far as I know, the comics before Ian Flynn do not count. And they never will.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Eeeeh, no. See, what’s going on is that those lamp posts are a kind of time machine that was developed on the little planet. He’s not doing it on his own, really, it’s like saying a car can drive through a mountain if there’s a tunnel.

Well to be honest I’m pretty sure I recall hearing how RD’s cone was handled in the original sonic rainboom was actually inaccurate somehow. I don’t remember how however.

Also again: Both are cartoon logic. They’re only as indestructible as the plot calls for.

That “next to indestructable” pony broke her wing from a fall that would give Sonic a short headache at worst. Hell, Sonic fell from SPACE and landed on HIS FEET, while CARRYING A WOMAN IN HIS ARMS.

I think you’re forgetting that sonic is also bound to cartoon physics. There’s no way he could go up to the speed of sound, and as far as I can tell there is no way to prove he does not. After all he does still form a sonic cone.
