G5’s biggest flaw was making the greatest movie of all time, and making us fall in love with the characters, the writing, the animation, heck even the music, and then pulling the financial rug right out from under us, tanking production quality.

i think honestly they should reboot g6 with older characters from past gens that had little to no screentime. basically ponies that are blank slates aside from their little bio cards they come with. there are hundreds of toy only characters that could make great protagonists.
