Description
Today’s prompt: Draw a pony falling from grace / Draw a pony past their prime.
This one’s a bit of a flashback, showing Cookie when she was still apprenticed to Knick Knack. I had the idea that she’d be inspired to seek out treasures with Syntax in the present day after hearing about how her mentor used to be an explorer and adventurer himself.
Of course, it can be difficult looking back as you get older, realizing how you’re not as young as you used to be, or else have lost some of the spark in your personality that you used to have. However, just because you’re getting older doesn’t mean you’re any less important or impactful. You still have a lot to give, and can pass on what you’ve learned and experienced to the next generation, so they can carry it on. That’s how Knick Knack felt with an apprentice and daughter-figure like Cookie. =)
