My Insane Fan Theory:

Twilight Sparkle doesn’t have a human counterpart in the other world as Sunset Shimmer doesn’t have a pony counterpart.

Thus Sunset Shimmer = Twilight Sparkle’s evil human Counterpart

same with Brad and Shining Armor.
