“How’s that?” Sea caster asked as he applied just a little more silk onto a mostly cocooned mare. She squirmed a bit then replied,
“Just a little less please.” Sea caster pulled off the unneeded silk.
“And now?” The mare once more squirmed a bit then sighed in comfort,
“Perfect.” Sea caster smiled and cuddled up to her, letting her head rest on his chest as he petted her mane. She then looked up into his soft eyes,
“Are you going to bite me?” Sea shook his head,
“Nope, If you didn’t want to be here I would have let you go.” The mare sighed, laying her head back onto his chest.
“Could you sing please, I love your voice.” Sea caster chuckled and began singing, his voice gently flowing with harmonious soothing notes as the evening lights danced on the water’s surface.
Meet, Sea caster. A fishing drider with special water proof silk for tackling really big and tough fish, like U-ponies and such. Taking on such powerful fish makes him stronger than an average drider. Sea caster also works with a local fishing company that pays well for a large catch. However, he is very gentle to ponies that come into his cove. He won’t wrap ponies up if they don’t want him too. He also doesn’t bite, he has small fangs and very little poison. What he does have is a very beautiful voice and is a wonderful singer. He sings quite often, attracting curious ponies and merponies. He’ll usually just chat with you from his web, but if you ask very nicely, he’ll bring you up and you get a beautiful view of the bay especially at night. If ponies offer for him to feed on their blood, he’ll most likely refuse, he hates taking other ponies blood and prefers eating fish.
Sea caster has become somewhat famous for comforting ponies that have been exploited by smooth talking swindlers like a certain peacock drider named Santiago as well as his calming voice, he avoids the more hypnotic notes and focuses on just sounding nice. He loves trust, and respects boundaries. However, he isn’t ready to settle down yet and makes it clear to others. He’ll make ponies feel wanted and loved, but he’ll shy away from long term commitments.
