Smolder is getting more comfortable wearing dresses around others. Seeing the dragon lord so boldly wear hers certainly helps.
In truth, Ember much prefers wearing nothing but armor or her hatchday suit, but a dragon lord must exude confidence at all times.

Dragons don’t normally wear flowers, at least the fire-breathing ones don’t, but Rarity thought Smolder would look cute with one. Smolder doesn’t think anything of it by now, but Ember is confused; in the Dragon Lands, flowers and herbs are only used for medications and death rituals. Is this pony saying her kind smells like the deceased? Rude!
