I think GameFreak are probably just playing their cards close to their chest with showing off the new stuff.
Why would they do that when they already have bloodsuckers like Zubat and Kabutops?
Nah, they’d never get copyright for that. Vampires and Dracula especially are practically public domain.
Sand Attack >Explosion
You would expect for Pokemon to run out of ideas and instead would add Vampires as pokemon and have Dracula as a Legendary along with any other generic monster.
This would be better if the Cat was your pokemon, and the Dog was the rivals.
(Yes, I am assuming this is the first battle in the game, both level 5 pokemon, and are pretty basic.)
