Tbf, Violette has been seen in TYT so unless it was just a cameo, the comics may or may not be canon to some degree for G5.

it’s not from a G5 book, and from G4 it’s called Under the Sparkling sea, it was from the first time when the Mane 6 went to see the Sea Ponies, it’s cool to see G5 making reference to books like the other Alicorns in Jornal of two sisters and the Isle of Scales from a Daring Doo book

Official G5 book, yes? Methinks after a catastrophe, they moved there and if the WMG were to be predicted, Hippogriffs and Seaponies are now separated like North and South Korea.

In G5 the pegasi don’t know that they can control the weather yet. Or maybe it was retconned away.
