Better question: why did I have to locate a copy of this, then find and watch the scene in question?!
Oh right, I have a hate-boner for crap films. Ha ha, silly me. 🤪
EDIT: Okay, finished watching the film. It’s not all crap, not even terrible by my standards; it does have some questionable production choices. Certainly an interesting take on the original story, though.
