The source is far more acceptable than 2. The ‘renegade’ cut made 2 tolerable, but it was the equivalent of trying to polish a turd that’d been run thru a blender.

…so I WASN’T the only one who thought of alicorns that way; although, I had thought of Celestia as that guy played by Sean Connery and Twilight Sparkle as Connor Macleod. I suppose Cadence would be Macleod’s buddy that got killed halfway through the movie. I don’t suppose anybody’s written a ponified Highlander fanfic?

But,.. They were NOT called highlanders! The McClouds were called Highlanders as they WERE Highlanders! The ‘race’ was just called The Immortals–even by the Watchers. Well, unless you bring in that abomination sequel movie that doesn’t exist… (Seriously, I’d rather watch G3.5 while being fed to rabid wolverines then watch the forbidden movie again)

But on a more serious note, those things Celestia brought up are why I think, realistically, Luna would be almost completely emptied out inside.
