That drawing isn’t too bad all things concidered. And since you asked for advice, I can share some.
Using someone else’s drawing as a reference, like you did here, is pretty good for learning, especially if it’s an artpiece you like, since you can look at how the artist did when drawing it and learn how to draw certain things that way. I used to do that all the time as a kid. However, trying to directly copy the image itself or the subject in it is not that good of an idea, since you’re limiting yourself more.
Speaking of limiting oneself, the fact you didn’t draw a sketch also does so. Drawing a sketch lets you play around with a pose or character more, since you’re not trying to make it perfect and it only serves as a base for the final drawing. So in the future, I suggest you start sketching ponies before drawing them.

What worked well for me was putting myself on a timer. I mainly sketch and used to give myself 5min per piece. If you didn’t manage to finish it, then you’d focus less on details and more on fluidity and progress.
