I don’t like calling anyone lazy but that’s just Gameloft’s way of doing them. And it has happened for like 7 updates straight.
Well at some point I’ll try and track down a copy of generations so that I can figure out which gameloft g1’s are also idw g1’s and therefor need the idw tag. Though technically all of these designs are based on how the g1 characters look in the generations comic so even if they themselves don’t appear they might still need the tag.
I did, that’s why I asked. Only few showed up, not every g1 character, at this point, gameloft is just adding any g1 character possible. And they have nothing to do with IDW’s generations comic.
I haven’t read the comic myself but the game itself has only included characters that appear in g4 media and the only g4 media that had the g1 designed g1 characters was the Generations IDW comic so I assume they did all appear in that comic. You’ll have to check the comic yourself though
Are you sure they put every g1 character in that comic?
These characters are specifically from the Generations idw comic and some even look different to their original appearances so I think the tag is warranted.
