The year is 2019 and the day is October 12th, and the last episode and epilogue of the animated show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is officially aired.

The epilogue ends with the song “The magic of friendship grows” offering a “time jump” to know a little about the main characters in an undetermined future and showing that friendship between species is stronger than ever.

The show “says good bye” to it’s audience with a scene where we can see the main team gathered saying goodbye, and making a transition to transform the scene into a photograph on a book, which closes to let us see that it is the same one that was opened at the beginning of the first episode of the show.

I still remember when me and my friend did a blind reaction to the finale, he broke down into tears not even when the song was finished and I was just in awestruck of it all while I heard him cry. I didn’t last 5 minutes after the episode ended cause I started crying myself.

Man, but that last song got all of us misty. Even for those who made it through the song, that last shot with the theme reprise and then the book closing. Still gets me every time.
