Not just that, I’ve seen several reports similar to that. Another kid got suspended for pretending a Pop-Tart was a gun, another kid got expelled for playing with a toy gun ON HIS OWN property at home! A 5 year-old kid got suspended for kissing a li’l girl, because it was somehow “sexual harassment”…
All of this happened in just the past year… This kinda thing is becoming common in our schools.
Yep. Changed for the worse.
These teachers/principles should be the ones suspended for doing shit like this.
@Background Human
That’s a good one.
Apparently, the school system wants to make sure kids have no free-will, independent thought, or imagination.
sneaky sneaky!
If I recall correctly, it was a poptart.
Both.
That, or phobia of being sued. Hard to tell.
I’m glad I still live in a place where people just wag their fingers and go “you crazy kids” :P
Nah, I mean if there were an object to mistake for a weapon, I would understand the overreaction. But he just threw air.
Tell me you don’t really we should be suspending for throwing a pinecone, at imaginary enemies no less.
