Last airbender was terrible because it attempted to cram a whole season of a much loved cartoon into an hour and a half, and all the dialogue is exposition and all the charecters were horifically bland.
 
EQG is a story where our Twilight Sparkle travels to an alternate universe (which is both like, and unlike her universe), turns into an anthropoid (maybe voluntary) and mingles with the locals, most likely drawing parallels to her world and theirs. It’s a relatively simple story, and can easily be resolved in a satisfying way in under two hours, charecter interactions, action scenes and humour aside. It is also being made by the same studio that made FIM, and may not have any impact on the G4 universe.

As long as it’s a one-time thing and not a series, I’m okay with it. If it’s terrible I’ll just pretend it doesn’t exist.

Honestly, human Twilight doesn’t look that bad. She’s a bit on the skinny side and the head is a bit big, but other than that it’s not awful.

I fear nothing, I’ve witnessed the downfall of Sonic franchise.  
Bring it on, EqG, betcha can’t beat that one!
