Since this video was originally labeled as shitposting, allow me to correct that misconception…

This meme is in reference to the upcoming movie “Godzilla: Minus One” which takes Godzilla back to his original concept as a metaphor for the the devasting and merciless power of nuclear weapons and nature’s backlash for humankind tampering with power not fully controlled or even understood.

In this meme, you intercut footage of Godzilla’s rampage with scenes from any movie, TV show, cartoon or web series and have the characters reacting to or being terrorized by Godzilla, and call it the name of that movie, TV show, cartoon or web series and add the words “Minus One”.

Example: Someone with an extensive knowledge of the TV show “Baywatch” could intercut scenes of Godzilla destroying military ships with scenes of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson talking about boating safety (as if wearing a lifejacket is going to help when Godzilla is blasting ships out of the ocean with his atomic breath)…and call it “Baywatch: Minus One”.

In this video, various ponies from G4 scream in reaction to Godzilla, so it’s called “Friendship is Magic: Minus One”.
