Agree this makes her the most compelling character of G5, but it’s also possible Alphabittle was exaggerating given the point of the episode was he was letting nostalgia blind him.
Unfortunately given G5 and G4’s unwillingness to directly deal with serious subject matter this less interesting take seems more likely.

I think Opaline wiped Misty’s memories of her life before they met to keep her loyal and obedient to her. If she couldn’t remember her dad, she wouldn’t try to go home. When Opaline is defeated, Misty will remember.

I question how he’s aged so much while Queen Haven hasn’t despite their daughters being the same age. (This would go a long way in explaining why Pipp and Zipp were so off-put by their dating.)
