I don’t even know who Misty’s mom/Alpha’s wife is.

Exactly what I kept saying. Misty is ultimately Alphabittle’s lost daughter in every possible outlier of Equestria standards. People always tend to over-predict anything with no rhyme or reason. I think they must consult their professional ophthalmologist and start seeing the clearer bi-focal picture that Misty and Alphie are like real family for one another. That’s just all for speaking the most honest truth, really.

Yeah. Misty really keeps herself company with Alphabittle, because he is somepony really loyalest and relatable. Everything of Alphabittle’s reputation is based on unicorn memorabilia and offered himself a chance getting reunited with his lost daughter. He keeps all his collective mementos and possessions extremely stashed and secured, tackling the revolving door problems, and perfecting his unicorn ideologies to excellent usage. That might even reach this particular conclusion that Misty always wanted nothing more than to rehabilitate herself with Alphabittle and from bravely pulling herself from Opaline’s quagmire. And the pacifier could very well be Misty’s portable sealant, but we’re not entirely certain that that’s the case. Either way, with so many visive details covered, that’s hardly a surprise everypony else banded together into helping out Misty and giving the free chance for keeping both Misty and Alphabittle’s real caring parental support all the more trustworthy and wholesome.

Yeah I remember those bits as well. Some people just can’t see the hints. Or want something objectively much worse for Misty. Like being with an abusive self-absorbed Alicorn who’s only desire is to steal power from others. Oh and lets not forget using Misty like a tool that can be easily discarded once her usefulness is gone.

And most likely that’s why he was sad when he turned away from Izzy in this scene. She probably reminded him of his lost daughter, Misty. Holidays are always the worst for those people or ponies in this case, who’ve lost their loved ones. 😢

And probably that’s why he was so obsessed with gambling and collecting stuff on the first place. That was his coping mechanism for losing his daughter/family.

It’d also explain his hostile attitude in ANG, when Sunny and the others revealed themselves: I think he pretty much believed that either the pegasi or one of the earth ponies kidnapped Misty when she wandered off and got lost.

People assumed that he was just a sore loser or being “racist”, but he always came off more bitter to me instead in that scene.

And speaking of which, I wonder if this also supposed to be a hint for “Alphadad”:

This shelf probably contains some of his most valued possessions. Maybe some of these stuffs are mementos, rather than prizes he won. I mean, that pacifier could be Misty’s and the wedding ring probably belonged to his wife, Misty’s mom. No idea about the fake eye, though.😅

Now it all makes sense. That’s why he made that face when Haven told him about her daughters.
