Of course they had a ponified name for ‘Sasquatch’. Once again I wonder if there are such things as ‘native Equestrians’, similar to the indigenous people of the Americas in real life that coined terms like ‘Sasquatch’ and ‘Yeti’. The closest thing to natives we saw in Equestria were the buffaloes, who were wearing headdresses clearly inspired by the likes of the Arapaho and Ute tribes of the mountain west.

In this comic at least, “Bighoof” is the earth pony name for the creature. The unicorn name for it is “Bridlesquach” (not sure if I spelled that right), while the pegasus name for it is “Zeti”.

So…bigfoot now exists in MLP as well? Is there some native pony tribe that has come up with a ponified version of the word ‘Sasquatch’, then, similar to how that word came from the Salish tribal language. I would love to learn more about that.
