I don’t really know Jigglypuff’s moves in Smash Bros at all, but as i play a variety of game types I could just tell it wasn’t about capturing.
I’m more of a Pokémon player, to be honest. So that’s an easy mistake to make.
I think he was talking about a Smash Bros move.
Fun fact: any keypress at all will work to manipulate your chances of capturing a Pokémon. Any at all, because keypresses manipulate the random number generator’s seed number. What matters more is timing: you’ll want to do this before the math is done.
