i kind of fancied drawing this lot in their older state but i didn’t want to do a sappy feelsy kind of pic like a lot of people seem to have done with this lot (not saying that’s a bad thing, a lot of them are really good) & luckily, i thought of this somewhat unique take on their older selves. & rightfully so as Twilight is unusually taller than her friends, she pretty much sticks out like a saw thumb & the other 5, same size, just older are questioning her tallness while Twi questions their smallness. X3
also, i can see what they were trying to do with Twilight’s mane & tail but it just looked a little odd so i did my own take on that too & made it look less fan made (which is ironic coming from me) & more like how it probably could’ve been for the finale.
all that was done was take the original mane & tail, stretch it & make it flow & sparkly. they didn’t seem to even try & make a new style which thinking about it now, they really should’ve done.
