At the sight of a familiar face, you suggest taking a short break from the activities to socialize a bit. Your companions agree, and after signing and leaving your miniature boats at the sawmill’s storage, you retrace your steps along the southern road.
You store Trailblazer & Moonflower’s Miniature Boat.
You find Sea Swirl and a pegasus mare chatting by the Rainbow Meadows, and decide to approach them with a greeting.
Sea Swirl: “Oh! It’s Trailblazer and Moonflower! And is that the colt you rescued from the woods back in Amblerta?”
Apple Basket: “Heh, I reckon that’s me. I’m Apple Basket.”
Sea Swirl: “Nice to meet you! I’m Sea Swirl, and this pretty mare is Sassaflash.”
Sassaflash: “Hello! Sea Swirl mentioned that she met some adventurers on her latest trip to the ocean.”
You nod, and explain that you just returned from your journey a couple of days ago.
Sea Swirl: “It must have been quite the journey! Last time we saw you, you were leaving for the open sea. Hey, where’s Furia Storm?”
After sitting together in the soft grass, you and your friends begin to recount your travels up until now…
Sea Swirl: “… So that’s what happened! I thought Moonflower looked different.”
Moonflower: “Heehee! I got a mantle to go with the glowy eyes, but I don’t like wearin’ clothes that much.”
Sea Swirl: “Oh, a kindred free spirit!”
Sassaflash: “And you two said that you live here in town?”
You nod, and gesture to your house just around the bend. Then, you ask the pair if they’ve been enjoying the festival so far.
Sassaflash: “We have, even though Sea Swirl is technically here to work.”
Sea Swirl: “If you can call it that. I was hired as a diver for the boat race later, just in case anything sinks into the lake.”
Apple Basket: “Shucks, you must be a real good swimmer.”
Sea Swirl: “Like a fish!”
Moonflower: “Ooh! Did you run into Dawn Break? She’s also here!”
Sea Swirl: “We have, actually! I think she and her sister were going to the Enchanter’s Workshop next. Speaking of Moondancer, did you ever get the chance to lend her that ring of yours?”
You admit that you have been having too much fun with the ring to let it go just yet.
Sea Swirl: “Hah! To be fair, I’d probably do the same thing, if I were in your horseshoes.”
The unicorn wags her eyebrows suggestively at her winged friend, who giggles behind a hoof before playfully rolling her eyes.
Sassaflash: “I don’t think I wanna know.”
