Dark Magic was usually quite an avoided subject, especially in the Crystal Empire due to it’s history with King Sombra, but when Trixie reassured Flurry Heart and Luster Dawn that there was one pony who also had experienced the darkest side of herself as well it was practically an unanimous decision to meet her. Twilight had left the magic portal under Starlight’s care: especially as she and Sunset Shimmer had become friends (MLP EG: Mirror Magic), so after Trixie had written to Sunset to let her know the portal was opening she placed the book upon the machine. It burst to life, waves of pure magic being compressed and shaped into what soon activated the portal to another world, and it glowed with a bright hue as a figure began to step through the mirror…
