Starlight also committed treason on her kind with that logic considering that she was also manipulating ponies for her own gain by manipulating them into giving up their cutie marks, lying about her own all for her own perfect life, then stealing them from the M6, one of whom is a princess, trying to run away with them, attacking the ponies who stopped her, coming back for revenge after a while of spying and messing with the entire timeline for the sake of petty revenge and even after being given a second chance, mind controlling Twilight’s friends. Her actions were just as bad as Cozy’s.

This means that Starlight was a horrible person and if she deserved all that help and second chances, then so does Cozy.

A regular prison would have easily held her. Guards wouldn’t randomly fall for her if they knew what she was capable of. Heck, a simple house arrest would have held a literal child with ease.

And I’m telling you that the mane 6 strongly gave up on giving Cozy a chance and trying to help her cause after Cozy still committed treason against her kind, trying to get rid of all magic, team up with Chrysalis & Lord Tirek under Grogar’s command (actually Discord in disguise in a misguided attempt to secretly redeemed them which that failed while he still secretly trying to give Twilight the toughest challenge and confidence of being a good new ruler), turn every Pegasi, Unicorn and Earth Ponies against each other, gleefully taunt and mock the the mane six while they’re temporary defeated and captured with Tirek and Chrysalis by her side, allow Chrysalis to torture Spike unless the mane six surrender.

Meaning deep down Cozy is a messed up spoiled brat of a child with a hidden personality that doesn’t deserve to be given a chance and can’t be trusted.

Just be thankful the mane six did not kill her even though she is dangerous to be left alive and sending her to Tartarus was justified cause a regular prison would not be enough cause she can use her “cute and innocent” look to get away.

Cozy misinterpreted those lessons, not necessarily defy them. In a way, its better then promoting an ideology and not perusing it yourself, which is what Starlight did. And really, Cozy teaming up with Tirek does not make her any more or less evil then other villains because Frankly, even Tirek’s actions were no better or worse then Starlight’s. I will also say again, Cozy was never given a chance or was given any attempt to help her change, unlike with Starlight, who was never given up on.

You fail to understand that Cozy has secretly abuse the power of friendship by defying everything Twilight taught her about how friendship works cause of her hidden twisted personality that Tirek find amusing and taught her everything he knows which is why Twilight and her friends strongly lost the will to reason with her since Cozy chose to be evil and not sorry for what she did.

Cozy is indeed indifferent. The only reason Starlight even started to have regrets because Twilight was actively working to convince her during multiple time loops. Meanwhile, Cozy was given up on almost immediately. No second chance or attempt at rehabilitation was given to her, which is rather unfair, therefore, Cozy deserved the same effort that Twilight put in to reform Starlight.

Cozy is indifferent from Starlight. She never regret anything, the Mane 6 lost all faith in her after what she done so she doesn’t deserve to be given a chance.
