My message is outdated because I now know some new info. This G5 EQG was supposed to completely be its own thing and not in the original EQG universe. Apparently, the human counterparts of the mane 5 were supposed to meet up for the first time and gain their cutie marks from there. The only source I got this from was from Makaryo, a massive G5 content creator. I’ll double check for a real source though.
I’d only want it if we got more sunset shimmer out of it.
Gonna have to disagree. A G5 Equestria Girls equivalent would have been awesome and I’m greatly disappointed it’s most likely scrapped. I don’t care about pre-established EQG getting “meddled with”. G4 is over let it go.
Ngl, (hot take incoming) I’m glad it never happened. There would have been a lot of story problems already if a new G5 EQG spinoff were to be made. Plus, if a new production team worked on it, it would have been likely that pre-established rules and assets from the original EQG would have been meddled with.
