It didn’t shit on everything G4 had, G5 is actually not that bad, in fact when the movie (A New Generation) first came out it was well received by critics and fans, it’s just that all of the G5 hate started when Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale came out all because it wasn’t as interesting as the movie did, although in my opinion both Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale ain’t that bad I’ve seen all of the episodes and their actually quite enjoyable, the characters are fun and memorable, the music is quite good, although the animation in both shows do look off at first, but thankfully in Make Your Mark the animation actually gets better in later episodes and The designs in Tell Your Tale may look awkward at first but I got use to them the more I started watching all the episodes, overall G5 isn’t all that bad and it doesn’t deserve this much hate just because it’s a continuation, it happened with Legend of Korra and Avatar fans didn’t complain about it’s existence, so why couldn’t G5?

This is me after hearing about G5 ending after Season 2 of Tell Your Tale, I just don’t understand why Hasbro decided to end G5 this early, G4 lasted for so long because of how much fans respected Friendship is Magic, But Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale have not gotten any respect from fans, instead fans have been disrespecting G5 all because they keep saying G5 ruined G4 when clearly they didn’t, these fans are just not understanding that not every generation has to be perfect, I had so much fun with these new ponies that I was starting to love these characters just as much as the ones in FIM, I may still love the main six in G4, but so far I’ve gotten use to loving Sunny and the others and I wish these ponies would’ve gotten the same love and respect as the ponies in FIM did.

Why don’t bronies like me?? All I want to do is the return friendship to Equestria and carry on Twilight’s legacy and I get hated on for it. When will it all end?
