Even if G5 has continuity errors, are they really that big of a deal? Many shows have continuity errors and they are still enjoyable.

For all the criticism Make Your Mark gets with all of it’s continuity errors, poor storylines and animation slip-ups, I think the writers have a long term idea for the show. This scene is part of what makes me think that…Sparky touches this tree and magic energy flows from him.
And…there is a giant tree that grows through Opaline’s castle.
And this whole “Earth Pony Magic” growing and manipulating plants with a tap of their hooves.
Opaline wants Sparky’s magic fire…if she gets ahold of him in the show’s finale, he might also be the cause of her downfall as he and the earth ponies turn the tree growing through her castle against her.
Just a thought.
