Boy, looking back on a largely improvised and heavily remixed story sure gets convoluted sometimes, huh?

DM: Alllllright then. After doing the right thing and warning the town of Tirek’s impending attack, you all jaunt into the Everfree Forest. The Forest is always full of unusual dangers, but compared to Nightmare Moon’s oppressive night, under the harsh light of day it’s much easier to navigate. Plus, the raw power radiating off Twilight is giving all the monsters second thoughts. It doesn’t take long for you to reach the misty bridge and lay eyes on the old, ruined palace. It was far more mysterious and foreboding in the night. Now it’s just another dilapidated castle. Which brings me to my next question: What are you all doing here?
Applejack: Ah dunno. Ah was expectin’ s’more time to make somethin’ up.
Rarity: It’s not /incredibly/ likely that our villains will check here first, so it gives us a breather. Beyond that, I have absolutely no idea.
Fluttershy: This was… the old royal palace, right? Back when the two sisters were in charge? And then Luna got banished, and then Celestia made Canterlot the capital city…
DM: Yep. Good on you for remembering.
Fluttershy: So we reunited them in their old home. That’s nice. We did some good here.
Twilight Sparkle: It’s also just kinda nice to see how far we’ve come.
Applejack: Yeah, since then we’ve had to deal with a dragon, an alchemist, parasprites, diamond dogs, a ghost provoking other monsters, uh… Canterlot’s elite, trick-or-treating children, a haunted fall festival, misunderstandings on the frontier, Breezies, a griffon turned rival party planner, a rigged flying competition, and the head of the Thieves’ Guild.
Rainbow Dash: Man, this campaign has been weird. Not in a bad way, but… *weird.*
DM: Okay, you all officially have a better recollection of this campaign’s events than I do.
Pinkie Pie: Wait, did Gilda *literally* turn into Cheese Sandwich?!?
