That was the β€œMy Pretty Pony” doll that came out in ’82.
G1 of the My Little Pony franchise released in β€˜83.
So tenacly, 2023 will be My Little Pony’s 40th anniversary.
Just giving you facts from the β€œToys That Made Us” Netflix documentary.

You got the year date wrong. MLP started in 1982. But at least you got the number of years that MLP has been around for right.

Looks like the My Little Pony franchise will be celebrating it’s 40th anniversary next year right after Hasbro went gung ho on Generation 5 of said franchise!
And the Care Bears franchise just celebrated it’s 40th anniversary not to long ago!
Plus next year will not only be Warner Brothers and The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, but Hasbro will also be celebrating it’s 100th anniversary next year too!
