I think jazz music was playing inside of Alphabittle’s tavern during the ‘a New Generation’ scene. It was quite quiet, but it was there. As such, this is the second appearance of jazz music, and the first where it gets a more prominent role outside of background noise.
And yes, I am a big jazz music fan, I have even taken a course in the genre in college. So I think it is awesome to see that music genre getting some love in the land of ponies.

As a major jazz music fan, this was so awesome to see. Love the fact that jazz music was introduced into the world of MLP. I hope we get to see more of it in the future.
