Got hit by a car, lost all of her legs and now needs an expensive medicine so that her prostheses work properly.
Got baited into stealing said medicine and was sentenced to hard labor in a mine.
Got out of prison and made friends with local anarch community only for said community to be raided by the police and many of her new friends ending up death or in prison.

Conclusion: The universe enjoy Atom’s suffering. XD

Hope we eventually learn how Atom meet Candy and… uhmm Car Dude? Sorry forgot his name. The guy really needs his own mini-story arc or something to make him feel less like he’s just there because they needed a driver. ;)
