I personally like much more this shape of Spike. Much more friendly he had always been in 99% of the G4 series.

I prefer this look compared to what we got.

Kinda reminds me of the final episode of Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated.
 
And if you haven’t seen that show, go watch it. It’s arguably the best Scooby Doo incarnation since the original series. And even tops it by having one big mystery running through two seasons of episodic mysteries.

Well now we HAVE to see them.
