But how did they escape Sombra? (If we ignore the comics where his takeover would have left no time for them to flee why use a character who only meaningfully characterized in said comic?) Why haven’t we heard about Amore’s heir before (especially when Cadance took the throne which is when it would be important)? Why have they stayed in hiding for over 1000 years despite Sombra being a non-threat during that time?
And Cadance was a teenager when Twilight was a foal, which argues against the longlivity required to be Amore’s daughter or granddaughter.
I’m not ruining out Amore’s relation, but the lore required to make that work does not exist or works against that possibility.
