Life isn’t fair. War more so. Just ask Ukraine.
Everybody died. Hell, original Fallout 3 ends with “you” dying, to save or “save” Capital Wastland. So yea, your point?

And remember, that for most of the world, Blackjack also died during final battle. Only selected few knows that she survived… if not in her orginal body.

And I wouldn’t wait for them to be finished - it doesn’t seem like it will happen in that century.

i havnt read either of them cause i wana wait till there finished.

still there are a number of things i would change if given the chance to make the last arc work better…most notably not killing everypony off, a few deaths are fine and to be expected, but the game of thrones level die off there was inexcusable, most critically id have at least one of her lovers survive, not sure which one p21 or glory, probably p21, much as i love glory she is a bit of a wallflower…and also i wouldnt have killed off poor echo/dealer…or at least id have given him a more heroic and redeaming end…to go thru so much just to die off in one paragraph and never be mentioned again…i realize these changes wont ever happen if only cause they would utterly mess with the sequal already well in progress oh and i wouldnt have destoryed sexy…after everything she went thru to get that damn gun…that just wasnt fair!

i also keep meaning to write some ‘what if’ stories, or commision them, aus of the original foe and project horizens, i would explain them but you dont want to hear me ramble about my silly ideas for such things

as stated below the artist, like myself, might prefer to pretend that last arc didnt happen, even somber admited they were reaching in places for the last arc…it feels out of place, way to many charicters were killed off honestly, often times in unsatisfying ways and the plot totaly jumped the shark.

Well… it was still better than “Sequel Trilogy” by Disney. But this is not high thing to beat, after all.
And I kinda liked it. Maybe it wasn’t quite good fit in MLP universe… but neither is Fallout, to be honest.
So, I think last arc was good enough. And I still like both sequels, that is Homelands and Speak.
