Yeah, she very clearly does crash to the ground, hard enough for her contraption to be completely wrecked. So that’s physical assault, pretty much, as well as destruction of property.
 
And the neck grab is clearly violent behaviour, though Iron Will did the same and no one seems to remember that. There’s no context in which grabbing someone by the throat and pulling them up or down isn’t “violent”.

He said we didn’t see Pinkie crash, which is simply wrong. Go rewatch the scene: Pinkie flying, Gilda making her spin out of control, Pinkie on the ground with her broken contraption behind her. What did he think happened, she beamed herself down roughly?
 
She didn’t throttle Pinkie, she only grabbed her throat with a squeezing sound. Right.
 
She didn’t carry out her threat, that is correct. It didn’t seem like an idle threat to me, though that’s my interpretration of it.
 
So, in essence: She might not be the spawn of Tirek, but claiming that “Gilda isn’t less bad than Diamond Tiara” is the same as doing that is whack.

Also, I never claimed that DT and SS were worse than Gilda. I also never said that Gilda was in the right or a victim, just that you were grossly overexagerating how bad she was. Also, you made the entire climax of your argument about her scaring off Fluttershy. I reserve the terms violent and physical to describe when characters are fighting or fully aiming to hurt one another, neither of which Gilda does, so my point still stands the main six push each other around just as bad or worse at later points, and as for “thief”, she took one freaking apple. Look, all I’m saying is, would people stop making Gilda out to be the spawn of Tirek, there are antagonist later in the show that acted way worse than Gilda and people lapped them up, heck there are protagonists who act worse later in show and people still gush over them.

Let’s clear they shit that you are on: 1) lying; yeah, I’ll give you that, she’s was far from up-front with Dash, but her dishonesty was mainly a minor point. 2) violent: No, she was not, she never attacked anyone at any point, her shoving Pinkie away was not intended to, nor did it, cause any harm to her, just sent her back to the ground, and even when she gets into her screaming fits later in the episode, she doesn’t hit or otherwise get physical with any of the townspeople. 3) backstabbing, Hahahaha, no. Gilda makes it perfectly clear she only respects Dash, and she doesn’t do anything to abuse or undercut Dash in anyway whatsoever. Hell, if really wanna go there, Dash is the one who backstabbed her with the relentless barrage of pranks . Gilda shows up, growls at Pinkie, pitches a tantrum, and leaves, which is actually a much cleaner track record than the two schoolyard bullies have.
