Also terrible in every possible way, firstpost had it absolutely right. That hat will repel men/women you actually would wanna have sex with. It screams “I WILL QUOTE REDDIT ALL NIGHT AND EXPECT SEX FOR BEING A NICE GUY”.

I had a great respect for fedora-wearing people back in my university because they tended to be the well-educated and intelligent ones in class. My younger brother also wears one, but tends to match it pretty well with his clothes.
 
The problem is that they can look like fishing hats (which I seriously thought one was when I first noticed the trend) and can be easily botched by one who is not worthy.

I wear one occasionally. People have to realize it’s not like a ball cap, you have to match it to stuff. If you don’t you look like a bloody fool. Also, jamming it full of buttons make’s it look like a hipster fishing hat….
