How about this part?
Who didn’t want to just tear their screen open and hug her, especially that cute little step back she takes.
That, and her pouty face. >>169094
I must add I like Derpy’s face here to.
Eeyup. I also count Trixie’s little faceplant in the end (Even though I deep down know this wasn’t specifically for the bronies) because it’s pretty much the magnum opus of cuteness for Trixie.
No, but I mean they did get a few tasty morsels in for the bronies, like the whole ‘Alicorn’ thing.
Perhaps, but that episode “Magic Duel” was actually ment to be a Season 2 episode originally, and was first submitted in January 2011, before the whole “brony” thing took off, and before Trixie became very popular. So I don’t think it was ment for the bronies specifically.
Let’s not forget that kids also like the show, everyone.
It doesn’t matter anyways. She can be “Ditzy,” “Derpy,” or “Clyde” if people want. Sense apparently, they’re afraid to give her an official name now.
I try to focus on fandom nods like Magic Duel. That was basically one big love letter to the bronies.
She was going to be Ditzy Doo. But she wasn’t.
Well, half the fans were ok with it. Admittedly I kinda prefered the name “Ditzy-Doo,” but I didn’t mind her being called “Derpy” in the ep’, or by her original voice. (Or edited voice, for that matter.) Still, it’s a shame we’ll never hear her voice, or name ever again now.
But let’s not bring up “Derpygate”… It was one of the fandom’s ugliest moments…
Yeah, it was one of the * ahem * less successful fandom nods they’ve pulled.
Actually, according to the writer of the ep’ she was going to be called “Ditzy-Doo” originally in the script, (would’ve been a nice callback to the “Winter Wrap-up” episode) but then they changed it to “Derpy,” and then changed it to “nothing.”
I know what comic you’re referring to, but there are only 10 female Incidental Pegasi.
