BONK!
Ya, that helps to be clear about what you mean, most people that say “don’t buy there stuff” ether don’t get how things work or are so pig headed, and in both they think buying nothing make the company somehow go back to the old.
Yeah, I probably should have been more specific. Want more show-accurate stuff? Buy show accurate stuff only and say to Hasbro how you want more.
Yeah, I probably should have been more specific. Want more show-accurate stuff? Buy show accurate stuff only and say to Hasbro how you want more.
The problem is you can’t just stop buying there stuff, all of it, you buy the stuff that’s still like the old and not the new stuff that you don’t, that and the feed back will make the point, not just feed back and not buying anything.
Meh, it’s just par for the course.
Whether or not they fix it is all up to them and the kind of show they want to make. Them getting feedback, though? It still helps.
Your giving them to much credit to see it as just the new stuff being the problem and people liking the old and them willing to go back to it, and if this is about Equestria Girls or not is hard to say with not info.
I have a feeling this may be about Equestria Girls, though.
@Princess♠Molestia
A sad side effect for sure, but the alternative is a strangehold by companies on consumers. It’s the sacrifice of dozens for the benefit of millions.
Well if you like it, keep giving them money. You don’t, don’t give them any more money.
It’s a bit harder to do with a TV show, but has gotten substantially easier since the growth of social media. Years ago, people like McCarthy or Thiessen would have had to wait until they went to a convention or something to get feedback from fans. Now? They have people telling them they loved/hated the latest episode the second its over.
Hasbro put out feelers like the more show accurate figurines and Funko vinyls. They saw that people liked it, so they put out more.
wouldn’t doing that en masse, as you appear to be suggesting, make people lose their jobs?
Didn’t Whitebeard die?
While that’s how it should work in theory, when a company realizes their product’s new direction isn’t drawing in money anymore they don’t go back to the way it was. They either continue to change it or drop it completely.
And they loose money for that, and think you don’t want that think anymore, then they drop it, and no more what you like.
So you basically screw yourself, now you don’t even have what you liked.
All you need to do is stop buying their stuff. That’s how you control companies.
