Yeah, a lot of breasts in the fandom’s art (rendered or drawn) tend to be pretty big and just not behave like breasts, or even like physical objects. XD I try to go for a more realistic style.

The bustiest character model that I have at the present is Celestia, who (in my interpretation) is fairly busty by real world standards, though probably not by porn standards. I do have to get her in some more interesting clothing at some point. That will be a challenge to get right.

Yeah, that, basically. In this case they’re cousins not siblings, but it’s meant to be the same idea as the cake twins.

Regarding the bra straps: Yeah, you’re right. Stuff like that is kind of a pain to fix, but if it’s ending up being noticeable and/or distracting for readers like you, I should perhaps try to figure out how to solve it.

Though I suppose the other question is how much effort to put into any one garment, based on how much screen time it gets.

I wouldn’t put any significant effort into it. Some other artists I follow draw big-boobed girls using Blender or similar tools, and on them it’s very obvious that the girl’s top is not following the laws of physics. I’ve always suspected that “doing it right” is beyond their skills, not laziness, and you’ve confirmed it’s a difficult problem to solve. I doubt anyone else noticed Twilight’s bra isn’t quite right. (I’d be interested to see how you handle a bigger chested model, tho, given your skills. The dynamics seem much trickier.)

Very minor picture nit - Twilight’s bra straps should have a little tension on them, rather than lying loose on her shoulders. The cups should not look like they’re painted or glued on the breasts, the breast should stretch the cup and keep the strap taut, even for a moderately proportioned breast like Twilight’s. This seems to be a common rendering issue with Blender, so I’m guessing it’s a royal pain to fix.

As I understand pony genetics, it’s basically possible for any combination of unicorn/pegasus/earth pony parents to have any of the three as a child. So if Smoothie and Juice were fraternal twins (as opposed to idents) they could be a unicorn & an earth pony. If I remember correctly, the Cake twins are that way.
