Man this was a tough one to make. Glad it’s finally done! I promised to make this video years ago but I really didnt have the skills to pull it off. I’m glad I didn’t make it years ago because the art looks super bad compared to the final haha. I really pushed myself with this video, learned a few programs, and learned how to go about setting up scenes better. I also have realized a lot of my art shortcomings with this video so I plan to increase my design skills.

Sadly I found that video disappointing, which is a shame considering how much time and effort clearly went into this. This might be silly, but I’m really hung up on why Twilight’s solution to the sun not rising was put on a concert. How was that meant to help precisely? Meanwhile in the old animatic, she gathered her friends to face what she probably thought was some crisis happening with the princesses and teleported into Celestia’s bedroom at the very end making for an effective bookend to the song after Twilight has no more verses after the beginning.

I did however enjoy some of the new interactions between Celestia and Luna.
