Insects can lift many times their weight because they’re so small. Strength is proportional to the square of your size, but weight is proportional to the cube of your size. So, the smaller you are, the proportionally stronger your limbs are.
Unfortunately, scaling a bug up to pony size makes it proportionally weaker. Chryssy here is lucky she can even stand up and walk.
