Then I realized something could go on her hoof, and that pony became Applejack. At that point, I wanted one of them to be on top of Pinkie, and that didn’t seem like something Fluttershy or Rarity would do, so Rainbow Dash was the next option (I wanted to only do Mane Six characters). Then I just fit in the last two trying to minimize the space as much as possible. In the end, it was basically like playing “Pony Tetris” or something.

Original Description:
I’m really happy with how this one turned out. And this is definitely something that I couldn’t have feasibly done without a drawing tablet (I shudder just imagining how much erasing I would need to do on paper to make this look right), so I’m glad I finally made that transition. This is my most involved piece of artwork so far, but it actually came out fairly easily and I didn’t have too much of a plan. I started with Twilight, then Pinkie Pie, and wanted to have someone using her hair as a pillow.
