I don’t even understand why Rainbow couldn’t have brought in Fluttershy or Pinkie, or hell TWILIGHT. Literally any other pony including Snips would have done better than Dash.
Also Non Compete Clause was way worse than this episode because Rainbow wasn’t the sole problem of it, Applejack shared responsibility too.
Honestly the fact a writer who wrote crappy Fairly Oddparents episodes understands Dash better than most of these new writers (And S10 is even worse than this if you can believe it) that’s pretty yaying sad.

Take it up with the fact most writers brought on around the halfway point were not required to familiarize themselves with earlier episodes. Consistency with prior canon was not a requirement.
