She seems really lonely.

Given some of the comments she makes and the clues we get about her throughout the movie, it’s not hard to reach the conclusion that she hasn’t really ever had friends before.

You know, I was thinking about how she has those up where she can see them, and wondering why she wouldn’t have put Sunny’s lantern note up as well, when it occurred to me that the reason she’s constantly carrying it with her might be because it’s the only thing she’s ever gotten that says someone wants to be her friend that she didn’t write herself.
