Wei, he wasn’t a jerk in both the season 2 finale and this episode. Queen Chrysalis was the real jerk in the season 2 finale because she put an evil spell on Shining Armor to think that he could marry Chrysalis in disguise. But her plane was foiled when the real Cadance arrived to save him and help him sent Chrysalis and the changelings away from Canterlot and possibly Equestria.
