Detailed syntax guide

Background Pony #45D3
@Stitch
You know. I see a lot of people talk about the “bizarreness” of fetishes. You seem like you might be at a stage where you can benefit from some advice from someone who has reasoned out some stuff that I think a lot of people would be a lot happier if they could realise and internalise too.
It might also stop people in and out of kink communities from gutting each other or trying to gut people from the next kink community over.

Okay. Let us build some common ground for you to work off of.

Think of it this way. If you were a quote-unquote “normal guy” who likes boobs. Try and explain why you would like boobs. Sit around and really think about it.
Is it the shape? Is it the nipples? Is it the weight? Is it the mere implication of “these are girly”? Is it the size? Maybe, on some level, it is the expectation and interest in “these give milk” or even “these are motherly”. Or some other reason.

And then think of all the variations somebody could have for liking boobs and their limits.
“I like small nipples because they’re cute. But only on boobs.”
“I like big nipples because they’re big. Hey, if we’re going multi-teat like a dog or piggy, that’d be awesome.”
“I like big boobs because they’re big and round.”
“Boobs are overrated, gimme pecs.”
“I like boobs legitimately as large as, if not larger than I am. I want to be smothered by a metaphorical ocean of bosom.”
“I cannot handle boobs bigger than d-cups. There is big then there is just TOO big, you know?”
“I unironically like big boobs on huge bara guys and there isn’t anything you all can do to stop me. Gimme my muscle milk.”
“I like udders and I think breasts are weird.”

If you don’t even like boobs, it’d be really hard to think about any of that from a personal perspective though wouldn’t it? Not much of it would really resonate with you, so you can’t talk about any of it as if it represents your tastes, because it wouldn’t. You wouldn’t really be able to innately comprehend boobs as a person with a fetish for boobs would, because you don’t. You don’t see an object of fixation with complicated emotional and physical reaction processes being invoked in you. You just see boobs and there is nothing wrong with that.

But you might have that complex physical and emotional reaction with something else, and there is nothing wrong with that. And so long as everyone just accepts that we’re all, as a culture, pretty weird in the grand scheme of things, things should be gucci for everybody. Because you in this hypothetical case, won’t judge people for stuff you shouldn’t, and likewise nobody would do similar to you. but this situation is hypothetical. So returning back to my point…

Of course, some people can’t accept the logic that lets other people have their own interests and enjoy them(within appropriate reason), and so have to resort to some borderline brainwashed-sounding logic. “Boobs are boobs because boobs and they’re on a girl so it’s a girl so as a guy you need to like boobs because you’re a guy.”
And I cannot adequately describe how much I hate people who backpedal to that logic rather than embrace the frontier before them and figure out their tastes, so they can truly reason out and say why they like things.

(…Do not get me started on the people who only acknowledge the freedom to self-exploration to justify their own interests but then deny it to others. Nevermind when they deny it for reasons that could be so easily turned back on the deniers it would be legitimately hilariously pathetic if not for being genuinely depressing. 3000+ words is more than enough as it is.)

What if I told you. That boobs are just clusters of fatty tissue? Specially constructed, sure. But STILL.
What if I told you your butt is similar if you’re chubby?
Does this mean that having nipples on your butt would be hot because “round thing + nipples = boobs = awesome”?
Does that mean that being fat is good because boobs are fatty tissue and being chubby means you have fatty tissue all over?
For you? Probably not. I’m sure somebody out there has the interest though. I know it’s got me curious. There are ways that the logical conclusions of butt-nipples could play out too. And I can imagine various people enjoying those conclusions for different reasons too.

But now that this “boobs are actually weirder than you think so maybe people in glass houses should be careful where they throw their stones” logic is laid bare before your eyes…
It really is weird, isn’t it? That we all know there are people who go absolutely ballistic for breasts, and some for butts specifically, but then by the same “Boobs are hot because they’re boobs” ultra simple logic. Their fixations should both be interchangeable because clearly they just like clusters of fatty tissue and so it shouldn’t matter so long as the same basic shapes were somewhere else. Right? …Wrong. A lot of people would be mortified to see somebody with an actual butt for a face, even if it didn’t have the same function as their actual butt. Well some would be amused, and do malicious things. But you get the idea.

…It’s almost like there is a reason for that. Like everything, in a manner of speaking, that gets somebody off and that they want and personally enjoy enough in a particular enough way, is a “fetish” at least on some level. That the specific chemical reactions, the specific emotions and feelings isn’t dissimilar to what is effectively a “normal reaction” to “normal stimulation”.
Its just that the reaction isn’t because of whatever is supposed to be appropriate for the regular human reproductive cycle that makes it a fetish. Because it differs from the norm.
There is a reason some people go nuts for handjobs but why I bet if you tried to give them one against their will it might not end well. Despite how innocuous an HJ would be to some, they might think oral is weirder. But it is still overall considered “normal things to enjoy”.

Horny people who enjoy “normal things” don’t get judged for having a “normal boob fetish”. Just for being horny. When they might just have such an attraction to the idea of breasts that it is what most people out of the know/who are misinformed/who are in on anti-fetish culture consider a fetish to be. “Something that immediately drives the other person into a state of high arousal upon seeing or even hearing about, prompting reduced self-control and becoming a risk”. Which is just… Bleh.
…Yet! You’ll find that while it is true there are a lot of people who enjoy things sexually. There are people who don’t really.
I know. A curious concept for some to accept. I consider myself an absurdly open-minded individual and it still took me a few days to wrap my head around it the moment I was confronted with it.
When I was 10, when I was at my least understanding. For a number of reasons.

Some people don’t like things because it gives them an overtly sexual fulfilment, but because it brings them some other kind of fulfilment.

People are complex. Complexities are standard. Standards are weird. Weirdness is surprisingly relative. Relatively speaking… Some disgusting shit happens in the world just because it is deemed “normal” and “the way things are”.

Even for all the quote-unquote “normal people”, there are a lot of different reasons why people like a lot of quote-unquote “normal things”. You cannot count on a girl liking dongs for the same reasons as another, same would go for gay guys. Some people might praise length, while others abide by girth. …Oh you thought that was it? Nah! Scent, texture, shape, nature, and more.
Yet more ways even allegedly normal things can appeal to so many different people differently. And while some people might give the same answer in a group, isolate them from peer pressure and spend some time encouraging their individuality, and don’t be surprised if their answer changes.

I think being a healthy individual in both a sexual and personal way, both mentally and physically is accepting fully that just because “normal interests” are “normal” doesn’t make them any less bizarre in the grand scheme of things than guro for example. Who cares if they fantasize. Who cares so long as their sources of stimulation don’t literally involve taking pleasure at cost to somebody. Things only really get icky when you get confronted with the possibility that they might be a predator/abuser, but being a predator/abuser isn’t unique to anybody with a kink…
And something that surprised me when I learned it the hardest way anybody should have to… Predators/abusers don’t necessarily have to mean/want to do it in the strictest sense.

Being the kind of healthy I hold as an ideal means accepting that there is a logic to even plain-as-hell vanilla married missionary that would make it seem really weird when you compare something so restrainedly plain to the rest of the fun you could be having. Of course, you’d have the right to have your pleasure without being judged simply for it. And I would defend that right, so long as it wasn’t abused to cause harm. Because I don’t believe in defending “Average FatFur Fan”‘s right to like FatFur stuff if they’re abusing the mutual fetish to have fun at other people’s health or expense. But the thing about that is… Some people think that only fatfurs would abuse the fat kink like that. That is slanderous bullshit.

There are absolutely regular-ass “I only have a fat fetish I am ‘normal’ otherwise” people out there who ain’t even remotely into anthros but who would consider that other people might be suitable targets for their shenanigans, whether willing and misinformed about their intentions, or unwilling.
And in regards to how I regard things. Same goes for every other conceivable fetish out there.
If a person can indulge responsibly, I don’t care what they like. Good on them for their self-discovery and self-mastery.
If a person can’t indulge responsibly and won’t accept that some things just cannot be done without causing problems and are thus best kept to fantasy, then they can put on some lead boots and go take a long walk off of a short pier.
I hung around on some gainer forum once and saw the same people saying that vore was “sick and monstrous” and that furries are “degenerates” saying some very condemning things in a thread on that same forum dedicated to exploring and even documenting methods and attempts to fatten people up against their will.
An example of people being both irresponsible but also hypocritical.

Part of that healthiness I advocate is also learning to recognise when you like something for some reason, and maybe don’t like it for another, learning to not overreact just because you’ve encountered an aspect of it you don’t like to the extent of shutting all possibility away. Learning to calm down, assess why you had a revulsed or excited reaction. Learning what sours the experience for you, while learning what makes it better for you.
Untangling the proverbial knot might make some other things clearer too. Your interests. Your influences. Why you like what you like, what you don’t.
And through that understanding you can better understand and accept why other people like what they like and don’t like what they don’t like.

I just want to clarify, not a personal statement against you. Moreso just informing. When you go to ask people why they like what they like, always keep in your mind the idea that there are probably a dozen things a day you encounter, that you cannot just suddenly explain why you like them or don’t like them, and that it becomes far harder to explain if whoever you’re talking to doesn’t share your interest to begin with, or likes the things you don’t.
You would be surprised how many people can’t explain why they like sex beyond just “It feels good”. And as for the people who can. You’d be surprised how self-centred their answers might be in regards to what some people consider a deep bonding ritual to be done only with people they like.

As for what I like about this animation…
Honestly I’m at this kooky hedonism zen point where I’ve learned to appreciate a LOT of things and just tend to narrow things down to the points the piece of media actually focuses on. Because judging a fatfur picture with emphasis on ass for how little focus is on the feet, doesn’t mean the artist is bad at drawing feet or that the picture is bad for lacking them, it just means you want to see feet.
Same for similar instances of the same general issue. Wanting something out of an artist that they don’t want to draw doesn’t mean their talent is wasted. So complaining to them rather than trying to see if they’d be up for doing a commission of what you want, is the actual waste of time. As would aggressively demeaning and/or trying to get “revenge” on them for not drawing what the obvious offending party in this example likes.
And so for the part you’re probably more interested in if only out of curiosity…

I like the size she gets blown up to. I like size in general, really. Big and round is a nice size and shape.
I like the idea of the helplessness of being a big round balloon, carried along by whoever. …But boy that could go wrong for me quickly, and even kind of by proxy I could be easily made to feel bad if the animation handled it differently.
I like the sound effects. The audible wobbles and creaks. The steady deepening fwoooooosh of the helium rushing in.
I even like the casual attitude Twilight picks Derpy to make an actual parade balloon out of. Like as if it was the most natural thing(note, this does not mean I dislike the idea of making a bigger deal out of it, that is a worthwhile distinction to make but it does not apply to me).

But to further my example. Here is my mentality so you have a better idea of my perspective.
I am innately inclined to like big round things. It is the most basic kink trigger for me, but it doesn’t mean you can dangle a round object in front of me and I’ll get excited though. If I had to say. Big round things tend to feel comforting to me. Especially if soft, but that doesn’t mean I hate taut.

I have a very mixed relationship with the idea of being made “helpless”, like anybody with a shady past that is at least 90 percent trauma and 10 percent “just enough reasons to unjustify going absolutely crazy in response to the 90 percent trauma”. If I’m compliant and allow it/I’m getting fun of it, I can accept it. But suddenly being jumped, tied up, and then even something typically “good” like taking me to a fancy diner where I could eat anything and everything I wanted. Would still result in me glaring hatefully as I start memorising faces and names and holding grudges that probably aren’t going to go out even if I die and that I fully intend to act on the moment I’m able. That might sound edgy, but hopefully it gets across how much I absolutely resent things happening to me genuinely against my will. Which I explained to show that interests are complicated and how not everyone, but some people, have complex interactions with their own kinks.
Not everyone likes everything of something. You would be surprised how much some furries who like inflation absolutely resent popping. (…And then there is the absolutely retarded section of the inflation fandom that thinks that people who like popping are bad people by default, which is just… OOF)

I have a deeeep fascination with borborygmi, and related noises are like horny-inducing ASMR (though again, playing gut noises at me doesn’t equal auto-arousal). The idea of a body getting toonishly inflated to the point the organs are all puffed up and creaking around inside an already creaking balloon of a body is just… Hrrrf~ I like the sound design, but if there was some actual gastrointestinal sound effects blended in, it would escalate my appreciation of the animation quite a bit. I don’t think I could suspend my visually-acquired logic for this though, considering I can clearly see Derpy gets somewhat transparent. No organs. Just a rubbery, creaky poneballoon.

I find casual over the top/unexpected actions to run the gamut from amusing to arousing for me. My looong history with watching cartoons and my sense of humour is definitely at play for the amusing part. Gags like a character pulling an object larger themselves out of their personal hammerspace like as if it is natural to do this, and other characters gazing on in complete awe is something that always manages to get a decent chuckle outta me.

On the whole not actually aroused. Amused, actually. But it is still a cute animation to watch.
Calling it hot would be an overstatement for me, but that doesn’t imply it ISN’T hot either…
There doesn’t really exist an accurate single word I can use to describe how it makes me feel. But I mean it makes me smile and provokes a “big balloon pone, so cute, want to hug~!” reaction, so hey.

I know this is long winded, but some things just can’t be explained within the same kind of word limit that Twitter uses for example. And I mean sure, a lot of people would abuse the idea of having the freedom to self-explore and not be judged for their kinks, just to do heinous shit and get away with it. Like the malicious “my kink is being a kinkshamer HUEHUEHUEHUE” peeps whether ironic or unironic.

But I mean in that case the person abusing that is just an asshole looking for an excuse and their kink/fetish/social group is what their actions are being filtered through. If somebody unironically gets off on kinkshaming other people, they’re still an asshole if they just push it on others and do it just to get pleasure from somebody else’s misery. Gotta find receptive partners. Gotta find a mutual agreement that benefits everyone involved properly and isn’t abusive. Consent and comfort are key.

But in the case of the people who would abuse their rights and freedoms to cause other people pain and misery whether for their own amusement, or malicious intent then you just do what any actual functional legal system and hospital should both have in common as being able to do, if you can.
Excise the cancer, heal the body.

JUST to be clear for you specifically @Stitch. This isn’t intended to shame/berate you or whatever. No implication of you trying to hate, and most of the “You”‘s used were speaking out of example. Moreso I’m just trying to broaden your perspective a little. While also giving you the information you asked for(why somebody might find the animation “hot”). Because I might be a sadist, but I’m not an asshole. :3
I am however prone to long informative rants. I could summarise, but then you’d miss context and common ground to build potential understandings off of. And missing out stuff like that is where true nonsense and misinformation tends to start.

@Stitch
She’s huge, bloated and helpless. That’s what I enjoy about it personally (obviously, not everyone will feel the same way and a fetish often only makes sense for those who have it).
