It was a sunny afternoon in Maretime Bay.
Little Sunny and her friends Sprout and Hitch were sitting in the lighthouse where Sunny lived and playing with figurines of ponies from former Equestria.
The Twilight Sparkle figurine cut through the sky and the Rainbow Dash figurine shouted:

Princess of Friendship gave orders:
Earth ponies! Pegasuses! Unicorns! Follow me! We will…
Spread love! - Fluttershy finished.
Hug everyone! - Pinkie Pie added.And fry brains! - Sprout yelled, waving the Rarity figurine. - The unicorns will attack everyone with the power of their horns!
Stop it, Sprout! - Ponies of all races are supposed to be friends with each other, remember?
Your version is boring and stupid! - Sprout snorted - Besides, my mother says that unicorns and pegasi would love to fry and eat us. Right, Hitch!
Possible mistakes.
Official print content from Hasbro, like books or IDW, are sometimes difficult for us to host - especially if it’s a full page scan of the original. So sometimes those get taken down because it looks like we can’t host it, but - like with this image - if we can link it to a source that’s licensed to advertise this content then we can host it so the image was restored.
Hasbro loves people sharing their advertisements. They’re not such a fan of their official content being shared without their permission, so as long as we can show that the image is from an advertisement, we’re ok.
Whenever something like a new movie comes out we end up with a lot of images that we’re not sure if we can host or not, and sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get it right.

In that context, it’s piss poor planning. Regardless, Disney is guilty of this to, I remember Wreck it Ralph 2 being spoiled for everyone one month before the release
A “leak” is when someone (not Hasbro officially) releases content many days before scheduled premieres.
This is a storybook, so it’s just a spoiler.
Hasbro seems to have trouble coordinating global releases of new content. It feels a little like each country gets its own timeline for everything, without any over-arching plan for rollout short of “advertise it as hard as possible”.
That’s not what “leak” means. The book is being published before the movie releases, but that doesn’t mean an officially licensed book (whose publication date would have had to be authorized by Hasbro) would be considered a leak just because it’s being released earlier than the source material from which it’s derived. You wouldn’t call the trailer a “leak”, right?
