G4 is over and done with man, the least you could do is give this new generation a chance. It even takes place in the same universe as G4, it’s literally an sequel to the world and characters that were built up in g4. You have a chance to see how this world is continuing and how it’s doing years later. Idk about you, but that sounds pretty intriguing. But that’s just my opinion on the matter, like you said you don’t need an official stamp of Hasbro to enjoy mlp content, and I’m not trying to speak for you. But I just don’t think sticking with G4 for the rest of time for mlp content, when it’s over and new opportunity’s and possibilities are right ahead is wasting that chance is all.

Definitely the biggest missed opportunity G4 had in my opinion was never releasing a 3D video game like Mario or Spyro. Can you imagine if they released a Semi-Open World game that covered all the major events of G4 season 1 to 9?
 
They could have had smaller scale events like the cutie map adventures and less serious villains as sidequests. Shoot they can even have some Movie & IDW comics stuff as what if style DLC. Such a missed opportunity.😓

Maybe a game can have Multiple Playable Characters and perspectives like that Sonic Adventure 1 game.
 
Probably that will never happen. But maybe a mobile game could happen with the Mane 5.
